Impacts of the new land laws in defining property rights in Pará

Both deal with rules for regularizing occupation of public lands, but have differences regarding the requirements and processes for issuing land titles. In this The State of the Amazon we analyze the implications of these laws and their regulation for defining property rights and environmental conservation in Pará.
